'Once Upon a Time' Season 4 Plot Spoilers: Belle's Mom in New Season? Love Interest Emerges for Henry
The upcoming season of "Once Upon a Time" is well into production as it prepares for a late September premiere date. So far, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have been very generous with spoilers and teasers for season 4.
For the past few months, fans have been getting lots of information about the characters from Disney's "Frozen" joining the show for the upcoming season. But what about the other characters?
According to TV Line, Henry (Jared Gilmore) may fall for a girl this season. ABC is reportedly in the process of casting "Lily." She is described as a teen who is self-reliant and smart with a "charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist."
The website reports that Lily, a recurring character, is slated to appear in the fifth episode of season 4. How she comes to Storybrooke or whether she has a Fairy Tale Land back story are both unclear at this point.
Meanwhile, other new characters are coming to the show. The showrunners are bringing another of their "Lost" alums on board. Elizabeth Mitchell, whom "Lost" fans remember as Dr. Juliet Burke, is joining the cast in an undisclosed role.
Horowitz and Kitsis have not shared any other details about her role.
"She's awesome, we love her, we're so happy to have her and we can't wait for the audience to discover who she is playing," they said.
There are speculations that she could be part of the "Frozen" characters, as the Snow Queen or Elsa and Anna's mother. But there are also rumors that Mitchell could be playing Belle's (Emilie de Ravin) mother, as Horowitz recently confirmed that viewers will get to meet her at some point during the new season.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 4 will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 28 on ABC.
