'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Spoilers: Emma Uses Dreamcatcher, Merida Makes A Hero Out Of Rumplestilskin
"Once Upon a Time" season five is returning with episode five this weekend and it's revealed to be an intense one as Emma, now also called as the Dark One, (Jennifer Morrison) is determined to free Merlin (Elliot Knight) as well as extract the Excalibur from its stone.
According to the official synopsis found on ABC's website, the upcoming episode of the show titled "Dreamcatcher" will see Emma making use of a dreamcatcher to look into the past to find out exactly how Merlin was turned into a tree. She will be working alongside Regina (Lana Parrilla) to unlock the secret of releasing Merlin from captivity. But it won't be an easy feat since they will need to go up against Arthur (Liam Garrigan) who isn't on board with releasing Merlin.
In the promo video released, it was also revealed that Emma will be needing the services of Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) as a sacrifice. Comic Book reported that The Dark One is demanding for Rumplestilskin to extract for her the Excalibur from the stone. But Rumple, who is still weak from his coma, begs for mercy from Emma. He tells her that he wants to see Belle and she should just release him. But of course, Emma isn't the new Dark One for nothing. She ignores Mr. Gold's plea and calls in Merida.

She then tasks Merida (Amy Manson) to train Gold and turn him into a hero. Merida at first refuses but with her heart being held hostage by Emma, she has no choice but to follow. But it's not all tense in the upcoming episode as spoilers reveal that Henry finally gathered the courage to ask Violet (Olivia Steele Falconer) on a date thanks to the encouragements of his moms.
Other guest stars that will appear in the episode Joana Metrass as Guinevere, David-Paul Grove as Doc, Ryan Robbins as Sir Morgan and Guy Fauchon as Vortigan.
"Once Upon a Time" season 5 episode 5 will air on Oct. 25, Sunday on ABC.
