One Direction Reality TV Show 'In The Works,' Simon Cowell Confirms (VIDEO)
One Direction will reportedly soon enter the world of reality TV, according to music mogul Simon Cowell.
The British boy band was formed by Cowell in 2010 and while they are currently busy preparing for their Where We Are tour, the group is also in talks to star in their very own show. The London based group, often referred to as 1D, consists of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
"I think there's something in the works, a possible TV show. We're going to be talking about that in the next couple of weeks," Cowell said in a video obtained by DailyStar UK.
1D has enjoyed international success since the 2011 release of their debut album Up All Night, which peaked at number one on various charts around the globe. Cowell revealed that in addition to rehearsing for the upcoming tour and planning for the launch of a reality TV show, the band is gearing up for the release of their fourth album which will drop later this year.
"They're always busy those guys," he said. "The important thing is, they've got a new album out this year."

The news follows a report claiming the "X Factor" producer recently gave love advice to Styles, who is dating reality TV star Kendall Jenner, 18. Cowell is believed to have reached out to Styles recently to warn him about the effect that dating a Jenner-Kardashian may have on his career.
"Simon knows Harry and Kendall's relationship is great for One Direction's profile, but he's wary of Harry being sucked into the Kardashian circus," a source told Star magazine UK.
"He warned him that won't do him any favors long-term," the source added.
Jenner, who is the younger sister of famed reality TV star Kim Kardashian, is featured on the hit reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Reports claim Jenner's mother Kris is pushing for Styles, 20, to be featured on the family's reality TV show in order to boost ratings.
"Kris has always seen her children's relationships as business opportunities, so she wants him on the show," another insider told Grazia magazine. "She insisted Kendall talk to him about it and has also made inroads, explaining what a great opportunity it would be for him."
