'One Direction' taking a break, or is it for good?

With One Direction's "On the Road Again" tour almost over, it was reported that the four plan to take a break next year, in order to focus on solo projects.

It was revealed that Niall, Harry, Liam, and Louis will be spending a year apart, with no plans to tour for the fifth album. X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini shared that she feels as though it is exactly what the boys needed. She stated that if the boys do not take a break, they might get crazy after all their hard work over the past years.

She also said that the four need to do some soul searching for awhile. She said, "They were young boys when we found them, they are young men now and need to find their own way. It's crucial for them to do that now, or you can go mad. I completely understand, coming from a girl group. It was seven years before we took a break. We weren't working as intensely or as hard as 1D but it is essential for your sanity".

However, there are speculations that the four do not plan to return from the break. It was predicted that the ongoing tour will be their last tour. With that, One Direction decided to release an additional 6,000 tickets for their Manchester Arena shows, in order to prevent their fans from being ripped off by scalpers. The tickets for the said shows are expected to cost around £1,200 each.

The news was taken from Niall Horan's official Twitter account. He tweeted, "Really upsetting to see that some of our tickets are going for crazy prices as people try to cash in on our fans. We think this is unfair. So we are working with an app called @Twickets where we've held back some good seats for our tour at face value prices. Pls check it out."
