'One Piece' Anime News: Luffy, Crew Stop Sanji From Marrying Pudding in 'Whole Cake Island' Story Arc

Recently, it was revealed that the "One Piece" manga is almost finished. However, fans of the "One Piece" anime series don't need to worry as the TV series is not reaching its finale anytime soon.

The official website of "One Piece" revealed that the "Whole Cake Island" story arc is coming to the series soon, and it will focus on Sanji as he falls in love with Charlotte Pudding after seeing her picture. According to reports, the story arc will also focus on Luffy's quest to prevent Sanji from marrying Pudding.

Viewers have yet to know why Luffy wants to stop Sanji from marrying Pudding. However, the one thing that is certain is that Luffy and his crew will go to Whole Cake Island to save Sanji. However, things won't be easy for the crew since the island is controlled by Big Mom.

Together with Chopper, Nami and Brook, Luffy will do all he can to help Sanji get away from Big Mom and her pirates.

The recently released visuals reveal that the new arc will begin with episode 783. In the visuals, Big Mom and her pirates are shown in the background, while Luffy and Sanji are in front. The image shows Luffy seemingly determined to stop an infuriated Sanji.

Also in the visuals are Reiju, Ichiji, Niji and Yonji donning their own outfits. Reports suggest that the said characters will play important roles in the upcoming story arc so it is only fitting that their visuals be teased too.

Teasers for the "Whole Cake Island" story arc do not reveal what major event is going to happen between Luffy and his friend so fans have yet to find out what that is.

The new story arc begins on Sunday, April 9 with episode 783, titled "Sanji's Homecoming — Into Big Mom's Territory!"
