'One Punch Man' Season 2: Fan Creates 'Justice League' Inspired Trailer

One avid "One Punch Man" fan recently spliced the series together to come up with an impressive "Justice League"-style trailer for the anime. Last week, Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the first full-length trailer for the upcoming "Justice League" movie and the explosive footage has inspired netizens to edit their favorite shows and films to fit its aesthetic.

With the new "Justice League"-inspired "One Punch Man" footage, it looks like even anime series are also being roped into this trend. The new fan-made footage shows Saitama as Batman, donning his yellow suit which perfectly complements the Batsuit. It also features Genos taking the place of Cyborg, and the magical gifts of Tatsumaki taking the place of Wonder Woman.

To replace Flash, the fan made the ninja Onosoku no Soni run in the clip at inhuman speeds. He also replaced Aquaman with a mash-up of the Deep Sea King and Stinger.

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Justice League" features Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciaran Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg. It will follow Bruce Wayne (Affleck) as he enlists the help of Diana Prince (Gadot) to face one of his greatest enemies yet. Together, they will recruit the other powerful meta-humans to form the unprecedented league of superheroes.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that "One Punch Man" season 2 has already kicked off production. On Twitter, one fan posted a promo showing a black and white image of Saitama, with its caption confirming that the production for season 2 is already underway.

While the creators of the series have not yet announced the premiere date for the new season, knowing that it has already started production is already good progress. The anime first premiered in October 2015 and was quick to become one of the most popular anime series in the world.
