'One Tree Hill' reunion news; Over the weekend created buzz among fans
The event fully documented through social media
Fans of "One Tree Hill" were treated to a photo fest of their cast reunited in an event. Held in Montreal, active social media users won't miss the event as the stars posted numerous pictures over Instagram. The cast members present include Sophia Bush, Torey Devitto, Stephen Colleti, Paul Johansson, Bethany Joy Lenz, Antwon Tanner, and Daphne Zuniga. Unfortunately, Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, and Hilarie Burton were not able to make it.
It's been 12 years since the drama series first premiered, but it made an impact on fans even today. It is evident that the cast members have formed a special bond. The Montreal reunion is not the first — in fact, over the past year, former One Tree Hill co-stars were seen together more than once. Back in October, Lenz, Bush, and Burton attended a One Tree Hill convention in Paris, wherein they snapped a photo on Instagram. Then in March, the inaugaral EyeCon One Tree Hill convention was held in Wilmington, North Carolina, where a number of cast members graced their presence in front of their fans.
With these frequent reunions, rumors persist that the cast is reuniting for more than just a photo op. According to MediaMass, reports are circulating that The WB plans to release a revival of the hit series in 2016. This could be what fans have been waiting for. The ending of the series left fans unsatisfied and have been waiting for a reunion. Some even hoped for a One Tree Hill movie. But while there is no confirmation yet, the chance of a reboot is still possible. Back in May, series creator Mark Schwahn told Glamour that he's happy for the success gained by the cast, and if time permits, "...get 'em all in one place, and I'll be there!"
