Oppo R11s Specs, Release Date: Features Uncovered in New Leak as Launch Nears
The Oppo R11s duo has popped by the Chinese certification agency TENAA to get some approval, revealing key specifications in the process.
Both the Oppo R11s and the R11s Plus will come equipped with an octa-core processor believed to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.
The regular version will come with 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM) while the bigger model will come with 6 GB. This will be paired with 64 GB of storage expandable with a microSD card.
The Oppo R11s will come with a 6-inch screen while the Oppo R11s Plus will have a bigger 6.43-inch display. Both will be active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) panels with full high-definition (HD) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
This means that the front panel of device will have thin bezels for a much seamless look. However, the images provided on TENAA do not look like it will be comparable to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 or LG V30.
More on the design and appearance, the Oppo R11s will be 7.1mm thick and will weigh 153 grams while the R11s Plus will be at 7.3mm with a weight of 182g.
The images also show a dual camera setup on the back of the Oppo R11s and the R11s Plus. It is listed to have a 16 MP sensor and another 20 MP sensor. There are reports that both lenses will be at 20 MP though. The handsets will also apparently come with a 20 MP selfie camera.
The Oppo R11s will come with a 3,120-mAh battery while a much bigger 3,880-mAh battery will be keeping the lights on the Plus version.
There is no word yet with regard to the release date of the Oppo R11s duo although a visit to TENAA, which is included in the final steps of the process of getting a device out, means that they it should see the light of day.
