Oprah Winfrey for 2020 Presidential Race? Media Mogul Hints Possibility
Oprah Winfrey's latest tweet has many under the impression that she could be aiming to be the first female President of the United States of America.
The media proprietor thanked John Podhoretz for his "vote of confidence" after he praised her for her debut as a special correspondent on "60 Minutes" where she interviewed a panel of supporters and critics of President Donald Trump.
The column writer went so far as to say that Winfrey could very well be the "best hope" of the Democratic Party to reclaim the White House. Podhoretz wrote:

If any figure in the United States bears watching over the next couple of years as our political culture continues the radical transformation that led to the election of Donald Trump, it's Oprah. I believe she's uniquely positioned, should she wish to commit herself, to seek the Democratic nomination for president and challenge Trump in 2020.
Her response to Podhoretz fueled speculations that she is considering to make a presidential bid. Winfrey has not said anything definitive yet though. In fact, when asked about her 2020 plans, she herself provided varied answers.
In an interview with Bloomberg back in March, she admitted that Trump's victory changed her outlook about her chances of becoming the leader of the country.
She said that she "never considered the question even a possibility" especially since she has no government experience. Knowing the current President does not have the background either, Winfrey said:
I thought, 'Oh, gee, I don't have the experience, I don't know enough.' And now I'm thinking, 'Oh.'
However, come June, the media mogul declared in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she will "never run for public office."
For now, however, nothing has been made certain yet. Even Winfrey appears to still be in the middle of making a decision. The possibility of her running for president, however, has many divided too.
On Twitter, some users stated that they will have her vote in a heartbeat while some say that they would rather have a person with experience to lead America.
