'Orange is the New Black' Renewed for Season 4
Fans of Netflix's "Orange is the New Black" will be happy to know that the show will be returning for a fourth season in 2016. The renewal isn't a surprise, as the show has been one of the top performing original series on the streaming service.
The series has garnered more than 20 awards, which include three Emmys and two GLAAD Media Awards, and moreover, OINTB is a recipient of a Peabody Award and a Television Critics Association Award.
Meanwhile, ahead of the season 3 premiere, Netflix has released a new clip of the show. At the end of season 2, the inmates of Litchfield Correctional Institution were dealing with the damage inflicted by Vee on the entire hub of inmates.
In the new promo clip for the upcoming season, Crazy Eyes and Poussey get into a yelling match in the prison dining hall. The two are arguing about Vee, who may or may not be dead.
"She's fine! Vee is fine! She's coming back for me," shouts Crazy Eyes when confronted with the idea that Vee might be dead.
Poussey was having none of it, arguing that Vee has been "smushed like a bug on a windshield." As the argument gets more heated, a guard informs Taystee to either diffuse the situation or allow Crazy Eyes to be taken to solitary confinement.
At the end of the previous season, Vee had attempted to escape from prison via a storm drain. However, her bid for freedom ended when terminally ill inmate Rosa ran her down with the prison van.
"Always so rude, that one," said Rosa, while Vee lay on the side of the road.
"Orange is the New Black" season 3 premieres on June 12 on Netflix.
