From that, fans could finally confirm one of the questions that was posed in the previous season's finale. Season 3 ended with Alex's fate in question after she was seen being attacked. Because of that, there are speculations that the character had already died. However, fans can now be reassured that Alex will be returning to the upcoming season.

On the other hand, one character's return is still up in the air. The fan favorite Ruby Rose has yet to confirm if she will be returning to the fourth season of the Netflix series. The previous season showed her back in trouble after her time was already up in the precinct. However, there are rumors stating that Ruby Rose's character, Stella, will be back with a major story line in the season to come.

With that, it is still unsure whether Alex and Piper will be reuniting as a couple. They were seen broken up due to Stella in the previous episodes. However, fans are still hoping that the two will get back together, especially with Alex in a very vulnerable situation.

"Orange Is the New Black" season 4 is expected to release on Netflix sometime next year.
