Oscar De La Hoya is a retired Mexican American boxer, who recently admitted to having an addiction to drugs and alcohol during an interview with the Spanish-language network Univision, published Wednesday morning.
De La Hoya comes from a boxing family and has defeated 17 world champions. He has also won 6 world titles in six different weight classes and generated an estimated $696 million pay-per-view income, more than any other boxer in the history. Here are some of his most memorable moments:
