Ouija Board Victim 'Possessed' by Several Demons, Family Says, 'She is a Christian Girl' (VIDEO)
A young girl seen on video convulsing while paramedics rush her to a hospital is now doing well but admits that she took a hallucinogenic drug before using a Ouija board to contact her deceased parents. Her guardians maintain that the girl was actually possessed by demons.
Alexandra Huerta, 16, was using the Ouija board with her brother and cousin after taking Brugmansia, a poisonous plant that can induce hallucinations, confusion, muscle paralysis and in large doses, death. It can also cause temporary insanity in children.
"She started convulsing and screaming of terrible visions," Maria Camano, Huerta's guardian, told the Daily Mail. "We tried to pray for them and to get them to pray as well, but it only made the demons who had taken control of her anger. I thought they were going to lose their minds. There is a lot of shamanism in the hills where we live and I was terrified when I saw what the Ouija had done to them. She was possessed by a spirit who wanted to harm her."
According to reports, the three teens immediately began experiencing hallucinations and tried to hurt themselves. Family members tried to intervene but it was to no avail. Nothing could be done, so Camano went for help from the local priest, but he would not do anything because Huerta was not a member of his church.
"The priest here wouldn't have been able to do it anyway," Camano explained. "We need special priests from the capital to perform exorcism."
Instead, an ambulance was called to take Huerta and her relatives to a local hospital, where she received treatment for the powerful drug. The video that was taken while Huerta was on a stretcher quickly went viral. In it, she is seen talking in other tongues and laughing hysterically.
"Alexandra was speaking in tongues and in a voice that was not her own," Camano said. "She went between laughing hysterically and threatening to kill herself. She tried to hurt herself with the kitchen tools. It was horrible to watch."
Thankfully the effects of the drug wore off after seven hours.
"We knew what they were doing," Jose Camano, Huerta's other guardian, said. "They hoped it (the drug) would open their minds to the spirits they tried to contact. But we never thought it would lead to them becoming possessed. We are simply happy to have them home again. She is resting following their ordeal – we want to make sure she is safe. We want to sue the paramedic who filmed Alexandra; the entire family is suffering as a result of what happened."
"We know what we did was very wrong," Mrs. Camano said. "She is a Christian girl who doesn't even drink alcohol. We should not have encouraged her to attempt black magic to contact her parents."
