Outkast New Album Coming After Upcoming Tour Ends
Outkast could begin working on new album once their upcoming tour comes to close.
Mr. DJ, one of the groups producers recently commented on their plans for the future and said the two are currently working on solo projects and could begin working on another Outkast album after their tour.
"I get the feeling that the energy and camaraderie from the tour will bring everything full circle," said Mr. DJ to REVOLT. "We may make it back in for an album following that."

Outkast announced plans to embark on a reunion tour that will hit 40 different venues. Two of the dates include Coachella which they are co-headlining and Governor's Ball.
"Outkast will return to the stage with a full festival run of over 40 dates to celebrate20 years since Southern playa list icadillac muzik," read the group's announcement that was made over Facebook earlier this month.
It also included a statement made by group member Andre 3000.
"Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast," said Andre.
The group's last album the Idlewild Original Soundtrack was released in 2006. Since then Big Boi has released two solo albums and Andre 3000 has collaborated with various artists for their songs including Lil Wayne, T.I., Drake, DJ Drama and more.
The two even appeared together on a song that was deemed not to be an Outkast reunion with Frank Ocean's 'Pink Matter.'
Rumors of a new Outkast album have been swirling since their last project. Andre abandoned rapping on the group's 2003 release 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below' and sang for most of his half of the album. He's been rapping again in recent years and might return to form for this new project if it ends up coming out.
