'Outlander' Season 2 will be casting red-haired Brianna and Roger soon.
With five episodes of "Outlander" Season 2 being filmed already, the creators are looking at getting Jamie and Claire's daughter 'Brianna' in the second season itself.
The previous spoilers of "Outlander" Season 2 had revealed that the location is shifting from Scotland to France and Jamie and Claire are struggling to bring up their daughter.
The newer characters of "Outlander" Season 2 points at what direction the season will go. Casting Brianna in her twenties would mean that the second half of the season might revolve around her adventures.

The casting call, as reported by TVLine, for the character "Brianna," who the creators said would be a regular, said that it was looking for an actress who was at least 5'8 and must look a little like Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan. Also, the actress' hair color could be of any color since dye is available if required.
According to TVLine, Brianna is described as an American in her twenties who is "strong-minded, intelligent beyond her years with an effortless charm and sparkling sense of humor (traits inherited from both her mother and father. She also has a scholastic mind-set, with a healthy dose of American strength, having been born and bred in Boston under the watchful eye of professor and historian Frank Randall."
"Outlander" is based on Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. Season 1 was based on the first book of the series. The second book, "Dragonfly in Amber," introduces Brianna as the daughter of Jamie and Claire. It is only in the fourth book, "Drums of Autumn," that Brianna goes back in time, following her mother to find out who her father is. Jamie had told Claire not to divulge to Brianna that he is her father.
It would seem that the creators have taken a different path and brought on this event much earlier in the television adaptation.
If "Outlander" Season 2 is to go in for a time leap and Brianna is to be cast, Roger too would have to be cast. We can expect the creators to come out with a casting call for the character of 'Roger' at the earliest.
