Over 150 Games Discounted in This Week's Deals With Gold, Spring Sale

Including Xbox One backward compatible titles and more!

Microsoft's weekly sale is bringing more than the usual Deals with Gold and Spotlight deals gamers have come to expect. This week, the company's Spring Sale is tagging along, providing the Xbox community with discounts for more than 150 games and more.

Deals with Gold

Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners who are also members of the Xbox Live Gold program can avail of this week's discounted games which include titles from Electronic Arts, a bunch of "LEGO" games, and add-ons for "Resident Evil," "SMITE," and other titles.

The following EA titles for the Xbox One are currently on sale:

  • "Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2" (DWG) - 17%
  • "Unravel" (DWG) - 17%
  • "EA Sports FIFA 16 Deluxe Edition" (Spotlight) - 50%
  • "EA Sports FIFA 16 Super Deluxe Edition" (Spotlight) - 33%

Xbox Live Gold subscribers get an additional 10 percent discount on top of all the deals on games mentioned in this article, except Deals with Gold which are exclusive to them and a number of Spotlight deals. Those interested in becoming a member can do so for $1 for the first month. Membership normally starts at $4.99 per month.

Spring Sale

It's spring and Microsoft is discounting many, many games with its Spring Sale. These include titles from franchises like "Battlefield," "Call of Duty," "Fallout," "Grand Theft Auto," "Just Cause," and many more. Recently released games like "Far Cry Primal," "Forza Motorsport 6," "Halo 5: Guardians," and "Gears of War Ultimate Edition" are also up for sale. The full list can be found here.

The Spring Sale is also bringing with it seven Xbox 360 titles under Microsoft's backward compatibility program. In other words, Xbox One players can also get to play with the following games through Xbox One Backward Compatibility:

  • "Fallout 3" - 67%
  • "Just Cause 2" - 75%
  • "Kane and Lynch 2" - 75%
  • "Battleblock Theatre" - 50%
  • "Dungeon Siege III" - 75%
  • "Hydro Thunder Hurricane" - 50%
  • "Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge" - 75%

In addition to games, Microsoft's Spring Sale also offers discounts for a number of PC titles like "Hand of Fate" and "Halo: Spartan Strike" as well as movies and TV shows like "The Martian," "Better Call Saul," and "Straight Outta Compton." These special offers will be available for a limited time only.

Microsoft is also slashing $50 on its Xbox One bundles including Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle, Xbox One 500 GB Name Your Game Bundle, and Xbox One "Tom Clancy's The Division" Bundle, among others. These bundles start at $299 and can be bought from the Microsoft Store and participating retailers.

Deals With Gold, Spotlight Sale, and the Spring Sale are currently ongoing and will end on Monday, March 28.
