'Overwatch': Recently Discovered Music Track Could Be Hinting at Imminent Introduction of Doomfist
Some clues hidden in 'Overwatch's' lore have offered hints related to who Doomfist may be
"Overwatch" fans have been very vigilant when it comes to scouting for any new clues that can be related to an additional character, and recently, it looks like something interesting has been discovered yet again.
Over on the r/Overwatch Subreddit, "DeadGirlDreaming" recently shared a new music track that was apparently added to the game via the latest PTR build.
What's interesting about this particular track is that it may be directly connected to a new character who could soon be added to the game.
As Redditor "SmashRoyaleYT" then pointed out, the track is apparently from one of the earlier cinematic trailers released for the game. Specifically, it's from the one that featured Reaper and Widowmaker trying to get the gauntlet that belonged to Doomfist.
With that track now in the game in some form, many players have taken it as a sign that Doomfist is also coming to "Overwatch."
To this point at least, developers have not confirmed that Doomfist will be added to the game just yet, though there are some clues pointing to what this character may be like.
According to the Overwatch Wiki, Doomfist is actually not just one person, but is instead a moniker that has already been bestowed upon three individuals.
Adhabu Ngumi was a Doomfist who also came to be known as The Savior, while Akinjide Adeyemi eventually became known as The Scourge.
The real identity of the third Doomfist remains unknown, but this individual has also been regarded as The Successor. It is believed that the Doomfist known as The Successor may be the one who ends up in the game as a playable character.
Players have clearly become invested in this mysterious character known as Doomfist, though at this point, they will just have to keep on waiting and hoping that more details about this potential new character will be shared by "Overwatch's" developers sometime soon.
