Parents Prank Kids Into Believing They Ate All Their Halloween Candy and Their Reactions Are Priceless
For many kids across America, the most sacred part of Halloween besides becoming their favorite superhero is arguably collecting as much candy as they possibly can. A few parents shared on the Jimmy Kimmel show this week what happens when they play tricks with that sacred Halloween treasure called candy. And it was riotous.
"You know for kids, Halloween candy it's a sacred thing. For a lot of them it's the first time they ever earned anything," quipped the late night comedian in a recent YouTube clip.
The clip, posted online on Monday, features video from a collection of parents who recorded their children's reaction as they tricked them into thinking they had eaten all their Halloween candy.
"No, you ruined my whole day," screamed one little girl dressed like a princess as her parents broke the fake news to her.
"I'll get you, I'll get you, I'll get you," she screamed as she released the scorn of her rolling tongue on her presumably selfish and greedy parent before declaring. "It's not funny!"
One boy moping at the thought of losing all his favorite candy rebuked his mother with a violent "I hate you!" forcing her to quickly present the hidden candy. Realizing she was only joking the boy tells her, "well, that's not very kind."
Another stout toddler threatened to discipline his parent with a kick to the derriere.
After telling her shocked daughters that she had eaten all their Halloween candy one mother decided to remind them about the benefits of eating healthy.
"You know that we should cut down on sweets honey, right? I want us to eat more healthy," said the mom.
The crying girl responded: "You can eat your healthy stuff 'cause you're fat."
Moral of the story? Don't eat your kids' Halloween candy.
