Paris Jackson Mom, Debbie Rowe, Spoils Paris for 15th Birthday (VIDEO)
Paris Jackson and her mom celebrated her 15th birthday together recently. It was the first time that Michael Jackson's daughter and Debbie Rowe have been photographed together since she was a baby, according to reports.
The two met up and Rowe took Paris shopping before they stopped off for a bite to eat at Ahi Sushi in Studio City.
Rowe has been a distant figure in Paris' life as she has grown up. Pop icon Michael Jackson and Rowe were married in 1996 in a wedding in Sydney, Australia. Although their marriage only lasted until 1999, the couple had two children together – Paris, who was born April 3, 1998, and her older brother Michael Jackson Jr. who was born Feb. 13, 1997.

Paris and her siblings of course lost their father three years ago now in June 25, 2009 as he was preparing to put on a massive concert series at London's O2 Arena.
Before his death, Michael had kept his children well shielded from the public eye, not wanting them to suffer the same fate as he himself did growing up under the media spotlight. However, since his death his children have stepped out increasingly into the media eye.
It is unknown whether Paris and her mother will continue to spend more time together after their recent meet up. However, they both appeared to enjoy each other's company during the birthday outing.
In 2003, Rowe spoke on Good Morning America and discussed her relationship with Paris and Michael Jackson Jr. She had previously received a lot of criticism for not being a larger part of their lives.
However, she explained: "Because you give birth, because you impregnate someone, that does not automatically give you that title of mother or father. You earn the title. My kids don't call me mom because I don't want them to. They're Michael's children.
"It's not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father. I believe there are people who should be parents and he's one of them. And he is such a fabulous man and such a good friend and he's always been there for me. Always, from the day I met him."
