Paris Jackson Mother Defends Daughter After Randy Jackson Comment, Says He is 'Grossly Misinformed'

Randy Jackson went public with his feelings concerning his niece, Paris Jackson, and her state of mind leading to her failed suicide attempt a few months ago.

"I just hate the fact that [Paris] will probably still be there, away from her family, on my brother's birthday." Randy wrote on Twitter. "She is not psychotic. There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long."

Paris' mother, Debbie Rowe, is said to be livid at her former brother-in-law and is convinced the Jackson family member is just out of the loop.

"As usual, he's grossly misinformed," she is quoted as saying of her former brother-in-law. "He doesn't know what he's talking about. He has no idea where she is. She's not in a psychiatric hospital."

Rowe had been in the news lately regarding the wrongful civil suit that she is currently involved in. During testimony given at a Los Angeles civil court in the civil suit against the concert promoters behind the late Michael Jackson's final tour, members of the Jackson family have been insisting that concert promoter AEG Live was negligent when the company hired Dr. Conrad Murray to treat Michael Jackson.

Rowe spoke out about Paris Jackson during the wrongful death civil trial. She also gave extensive testimony about Michael Jackson's fear of pain, leading the singer to doctor shop.

Rowe revealed that her 15-year-old daughter is devastated.

"She tried to kill herself…She has no life. She doesn't feel she has a life anymore."

Paris Jackson herself won't be testifying. The fragile teen attempted suicide in June and is still receiving inpatient treatment.

"As far as Paris is concerned, she is fine and is ready to go home, but the doctors and her family are not taking any chances," a source close to the family told the Sun. "She tried to end her own life, and it doesn't get more serious than that. She was in a terrible state, and her family knows it would not take much to tip her over the edge again."
