Earlier last week Heaton had sided with Limbaugh who called Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute" after the student had advocated for expanded access to birth control.

Directed toward Fluke, Heaton posted: "Hey G-Town Gal: Plz let us also pay for your Starbucks, movie theater tickets and your favorite hot wings combo deal at KFC! Anything else?"

The "Everybody Loves Raymond" star added, "Hey G-Town Gal: If your parents have to pay for your birth control, maybe they should get a say in who you sleep with! Instant birth control!"

Before deactivating her account, Heaton also posted, "If every Tweaton sent Georgetown Gal one condom, her parents wouldn't have to cancel basic cable, & she would never reproduce- sound good?"

Today, Rush Limbaugh is losing advertisers for his radio show at a rapid pace in the wake of his comments toward Fluke. After receiving criticism for supporting Limbaugh, Heaton was forced to make amends with the public.

After reactivating her account on the social media site, Heaton posted on Monday, "I apologized to Ms Fluke last week. I may not agree with her views but I didn't treat her with respect and I'm sorry. I was wrong. Mea Cupla."

The ABC television series star noted that Fluke was not the only person Heaton had wronged recently.

"Along with apologizing to @SandraFluke, also said sorry to hubby this a.m. after a tiff. Eating #HumblePie instead of birthday cake," posted the actress.

Heaton also reminded her followers that the recent controversy did not have her concerned about her job.

"Not worried about my career- G-d (sic) gave it to me, He can take it away. But Christ's highest commands: Love G-d w/hrt&soul, neigh as self," explained the actress.
