Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger Rumors: Relationship in Trouble?

It has been previously reported that Maria Shriver, Patrick Schwarzenegger's mother, is not a fan of his ongoing relationship with Miley Cyrus. Shriver has even reportedly banned the singer from family gatherings, and now, a new report claims that she and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be disinheriting their son if he doesn't breakup with his girlfriend.

According to the Inquisitr, both Shriver and Schwarzenegger "are convinced [Miley] is a negative influence on their son and are determined to end the relationship." According to the report, they believe that the only way for that to happen is to deny him the $49 million he's about to inherit when he turns 25.

But a source tells Hollywood Life that the report is false.

"Maria doesn't like Miley, we all know that, but nobody has put this up as an ultimatum," said the insider. "His schooling isn't being threatened, nothing money-related is being thrown in his face to get him to break up with Miley."

"Maria is disappointed in the relationship but everyone thinks that she will eventually get over it. His parents love him," the confidante continued.

The source goes on to say that Shriver believes that the singer could break her son's heart and that she could lead him down the wrong path.

"Maria doesn't want her thoughts to be right but strongly believes they are. Maria was burned by Arnold so she is being extra protective of her son. But loss of any inheritance is foolish, that is not happening or being talked about at all."

Despite the reports, the couple appears to be going strong as they were seen and photographed on Wednesday in L.A. heading out of a health food restaurant.
