Patriots Release Chad Ochocinco, Evelyn Lozada Mocks Fiancée on Twitter
Chad Ochocinco's fiancée Evelyn Lozada immediately took to Twitter to address the news of his release from The New England Patriots.
Lozada, 37, took a lighthearted approach to Ochocinco's new found unemployment, which led to criticisms that she was being insensitive.
"Aww baby you got cut @ochocinco I got your back! I'm the bread winner now, which means I make the rules! #Boom," Lozada tweeted.

The "Basketball Wives" star even joked about getting 34-year-old Ochocinco a job for Father's Day when asked what she would give him as a gift.
"A job lmfaooooo RT @Mr_EvelynLozada: @EvelynLozada what are you getting Chad for "Fathers Day"...?!?," she wrote.
Ochocinco joined The New England Patriots in July, after being traded from The Cincinnati Bengals, who he played with for nine years.
The free agent also took to Twitter to confirm that he had been released by The Patriots.
"Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play for the 'Patriot' organization... fans were f------ wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best..." Ochocinco tweeted.
Lozada was eventually forced to address criticisms that her jokes about Ochocinco's release were inappropriate, with a number of football fans blasting the reality TV personality on Twitter.
"If you don't get my humor with @ochocinco then F off! Not meant for you to 'understand' #Smooches," Lozada tweeted.
The couple are currently preparing for their upcoming wedding which will be filmed for their VH1 spin-off show "Ocho and Eve."
They are reportedly having difficulty finding a hotel that is willing to host their lavish event with several establishments, including The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and The Ritz-Carlton, who rejected the proposal in fear that the wedding could tarnish their brands, according to TMZ.
Lozada, who is known for her violent behavior on "Basketball Wives," is said to be the primary concern.
