Patti LaBelle, NFL Players' Choir Sing the Gospel on 'Good Morning America': 'Jesus, You've Been So Good to Me!' (VIDEO)
If I told you that the name of Jesus was praised today for three nonstop minutes on America's most-watched TV morning show, you might not believe it. But interesting things happen when the Super Bowl comes around.
Thursday morning on 'Good Morning America', Grammy-winning R&B star Patti LaBelle led the NFL Players' Choir in singing "Who's on the Lord's Side" by Rev. Timothy Wright. The choir, consisting of former NFL players, got its start in 2008 under the direction of popular gospel singer Donnie McClurkin.
It's quite a sight to watch these past warriors on the football field, dressed in gospel choir robes, proclaim "Jesus, you've been so good to me!" on this show watched by 5.7 million households everyday.
