Paul Colman Starts Solo Career
Paul Colman, frontman and founder of the band Paul Colman Trio, has announced that he will start a solo career. For PC3 fans, this is good news and they are pleased with the upcoming performances and projects. Colman singing "I Love You Lord" is featured in the WOW Worship (Red) CD, while "I'm So Blue" is in Veggie Rocks!. And for Waterfront Records' upcoming worship compilation, he has recorded a modern version of "Amazing Grace".
Next month, Colman will make his first solo appearance at an industry convention. On the itinerary for Gospel Music Week 2004 are media interviews as well as participation in select events. Colman will co-host and perform at a late night showcase hosted by outreach organization World Vision. In addition, he will sit on the "Hear My Heart" panel, a MAPS seminar that provides an informal time for artists to share about their lives.
Furthermore, Colman will be booked for many concerts from now till summer, including a set which he will play for more than 80,000 at the Billy Graham's "Heart of America" crusade in Kansas City, Mo.
Among the many additional arenas, Paul Colman fans can hear their favorite artist is main stage at Crossover Festival, Atlanta Fest, Creation Festival East, Summer Blast, Creation Festival West, Inside Out Soul Fest, Kingdom Bound and Rock the Universe at Universal Studios.
