Paul George Reacts After Receiving Prayers From NBA Players
Paul George is reacting after a shocking leg injury caused him to receive prayers and support from high profile people in and around the NBA community.
George, the 24-year-old Indiana Pacers guard, reportedly suffered a compound fracture of his tibia and fibula at the Team USA scrimmage at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, according to Indy Star reports. After George attempted to defend fellow guard James Harden on a fast break, he ended up jamming his foot on the backboard stanchion in an awkward position that required him to have surgery.
The injury caused a strong reaction from many athletes and fans at the scrimmage, which resulted in George receiving a great deal of support on social media.

Lebron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward, took to his Twitter to express his sorrow for George's injury.
"Man just landed and got a message about @Paul_George24," James tweeted. "Made me immediately sick to my stomach!! Praying for u a speedy recovery homie!!!"
Kevin Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard, also took to Twitter to call for prayers in the situation.
"God bless u my brother @Paul_George24. Im hurt, praying for you," Durant tweeted George. "Praying for peace. Praying that God heals you in a supernatural way."
While countless other NBA players offered their prayers and support to George, NBA legend and Pacers president Larry Bird released a statement about the ordeal.
"There is no question about the impact on our team but our goal is to be as strong-willed and determined as Paul will be in coming back. Our franchise has had setbacks in its history but has demonstrated the abilities to recover," Bird said in the statement, released on the team's Twitter page. "Paul will provide the example of that off the court and it is up to the rest of us to provide that example on the court. Any discussion regarding the future of our team would be inappropriate at this time. Our focus is solely on Paul and doing whatever we can to help."
Paul made sure to thank his supporters on social media.
"Thanks everybody for the love and support.. I'll be ok and be back better than ever," he tweeted. "Love y'all!! #YoungTrece."
