Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker, is reportedly "very upset" as she comes to terms of the tragic news of her father's death.
The 15-year-old is Walker's daughter with former girlfriend Rebecca McBrain, and has been left in mourning after her actor father, 40, passed away Saturday afternoon when a car he was in crashed in Santa Clarita, Calif. The driver of the car also died in the crash.
"Meadow is, naturally, very upset by the tragic news," a source has said, according to ShowBizSpy. "But she has her family around her. It's going to be a tough time." A photo of Meadow Walker can be seen by clicking here.
Following the accident, police released a statement: "When they arrived, deputies found the vehicle engulfed in flames. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded, extinguished the fire and subsequently located two victims inside the vehicle. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene."
Deputy Heischuber of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station told People magazine: "This is an ongoing investigation. A solo car crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. in the city of Santa Clarita, on the outskirts of Valencia. A 911 call came in from a bystander."
Meadow Rain Walker was the actor's only daughter, who was born after the "Fast and the Furious" star dated her mother, Rebecca McBrain in 1998, but they split not long after her birth.
Rebecca is reportedly consoling their teenage daughter: "Rebecca is being there for her daughter, who is naturally devastated," a source has told ShowBozSpy. "She and Paul had some good times together. She too is upset by his death."
Paul Walker was filming the 7th film in the hit car movie franchise, and it is unknown how filming will continue after the sudden death.
The tragedy happened as Walker was traveling in the passenger seat of a vehicle being driven by his friend. Their vehicle crashed into a tree in Santa Clarita and burst into flames killing both Walker and the driver.
Walker was attending an event for his charity, Reach Out Worldwide.
The actor was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He grew up as a member of the Mormon faith and graduated from Village Christian School.
