People's Choice Awards 2012 Winners
The 38th annual People's Choice Awards have honored today's most-loved movies, actors, and singers during the ceremony Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Hosted by "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco, the 2012 awards show saw millions of Americans vote for their favorite stars.
Wednesday saw performances by country music superstar Faith Hill as well as a winner of the night, Demi Lovato.
Lovato performed her hit single, "Give Your Heart a Break," and beat Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Rihanna for the PCA of Favorite Pop Artist.
Recently single Katy Perry canceled her appearance at this year's People's Choice Awards despite having picked up seven nominations. Although she was unable to attend, the singer earned the night's most awards with five PCA's during the night.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 2" was also one of the night's biggest winners, earning four awards including Favorite Movie and Best Book Adaptation.
Awards were presented by celebrities such as Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, and "Hunger Games" stars Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence, to name a few.
"Glee" star Lea Michele earned Favorite TV Comedy Actress, and this year marks Ellen DeGeneres' third PCA with the trophy for Favorite Daytime TV Host.
American darling and star in 2011's film "The Help," Emma Stone earned Favorite Movie Actress as well as Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.
Kim Kardashian received the PCA for Favorite Celebreality Star, and Morgan Freeman was honored with the award for Movie Icon.
Although the actor could not attend the awards show, Johnny Depp received both Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Animated Movie Voice this year.
Surprising wins went to actors Nina Dobrev from "The Vampire Diaries" and Nathan Fillion of CBS's "Castle," while Neil Patrick Harris earned Favorite TV Comedy Actor, and his show "How I Met Your Mother" earned the award for Favorite TV Comedy.
