'Persona 5' Madarame Guide: How to Defeat the Second Boss
Gamers who have defeated the first boss in Atlus' role-playing video game "Persona 5" may proceed to the next dungeon, where they are bound to face the dreaded Shadow Madarame.
According to Twinfinite, the Museum of Vanity is where Ichiryusai Madarame, an infamous artist, can be found. He is said to keep a dark secret. Greedy for fame, Madarame steals the precious works of young painters and announces them as his own. Once done with the poor artists, he kicks them out of the museum without remorse. This, according to him, is part of the trade, where only the strongest and most callous survive.
To defeat Madarame, a player must be prepared to use a different set of strategies because the artist will not go down like Shadow Kagoshima, the first boss. According to Mic, Madarame actually has two forms, each containing different abilities. After greeting the player in his human form, the artist will transform into a floating group of paintings – two eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Each canvas reportedly has a unique health pool.
For example, the mouth is said to heal when struck by a physical attack, whereas the eye heals via magic attacks. To ensure that the paintings will be defeated, a strategy must be planned beforehand. One way to take down all the canvasses is to reportedly attack them in order. The right eye and nose must be targeted first, followed by the left eye and lastly, the mouth. Once the paintings are defeated, Madarame will revert back to his human form.
Once human again, Madarame is reportedly easier to defeat. When his health is almost zero, he will turn back into his paintings once again. This time around, he has the power to regenerate. The best way to tackle him is supposedly by arranging the body parts into the proper positions then attacking them with physical moves all at once. As the other parts weaken and are eventually destroyed, only the mouth will remain unhurt. It will not be able to heal the other body parts this time, ensuring victory to the player.
