'Persona 5' News: 'Ultimate Edition,' Two Special DLC Bundles Now Available

Special bundles include DLC Personas and costumes

"Persona 5" is widely regarded as one of the best Japanese role-playing games ever released as it has drawn praises from critics and fans alike.

It has been out for a while now, but for those who have not gotten the game yet and are looking to do so, there is a new edition available that may interest them.

Released just recently, the new "Ultimate Edition" of the JRPG contains several additional items along with the base game.

As seen in the PlayStation Store listing for the "Ultimate Edition," gamers who opt to get this will receive a healing item set, a skill card set, the Japanese audio track and a new difficulty level.

Along with those items, players will also receive additional costumes and background music tracks. The additional costumes and tracks come from earlier Atlus titles such as "Catherine," "Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha" and previous installments of the "Shin Megami Tensei" series.

Costumes and tracks from earlier "Persona" games are included in the "Ultimate Edition" as well.

Not all costumes included are from previous Atlus games. The characters' regular clothes, school uniforms, Christmas-themed costumes, maid and butler outfits, swimsuits and some articles of clothing bearing the "Persona" 20th anniversary logo are also made available to players via the "Ultimate Edition."

Developers have also thrown in the Morgana car sticker.

The "Ultimate Edition" of "Persona 5" also contains some classic Personas from games past along with others that have been modified a bit.

The Personas included are Ariadne, Ariadne Picaro, Asterius, Asterius Picaro, Izanagi, Izanagi Picaro, Kaguya, Kaguya Picaro, Magatsu Izanagi, Magatsu Izanagi Picaro, Messiah, Messiah Picaro, Orpheus, Orpheus Picaro, Thanatos, Thanatos Picaro, Tsukiyomi and finally, Tsukiyomi Picaro.

It is worth noting that the costumes, music tracks, Personas and other items included in the "Ultimate Edition" have been made available previously to owners of the base game as downloadable content.

The "Ultimate Edition" of the JRPG is on sale for $124.99.

Players who already have the base game may be interested in the DLC bundles that have also been released just recently.

The "Costume & BGM Bundle" contains the outfits and music tracks mentioned earlier in this article, and this pack is available for $59.99. The "Persona Bundle" that features the aforementioned Personas is priced at $19.99.

More news about "Persona 5" should be made available soon.
