'PES 2018' Gameplay News: Usain Bolt's Speed and Explosive Power Revealed; Konami and Inter Milan Partner for Post-Launch DLC
A few days before the game's official release, "PES 2018" developer Konami has finally revealed Usain Bolt's in-game stats. Meanwhile, it has also confirmed that the Inter Milan football club will be added to the game as post-launch downloadable content.
"PES 2018" or "Pro Soccer Evolution 2018" is an upcoming sports simulation video game from Konami that is licensed to use real-life players, teams, and venues. In this release, players who have pre-ordered the game are getting an exclusive bonus of playing with the world-renowned Olympic sprinter as one of their players.
As Konami revealed the official player rankings on "PES 2018," they have also announced Bolt's in-game stats and playing position. Overall, Bolt is ranked 75 with a rating of 99 both on his speed and explosive power.

Bolt's in-game stats, especially his speed, is practically as real as it gets if one considers his record-breaking number of wins in the Olympics. Meanwhile, Konami has also revealed he will be playing as a left-wing forward.
Players who pre-ordered "PES 2018" can access Bolt's character in the MyClub game mode.
In other news, Konami announced they have sealed a deal with Inter Milan that will add the football club as one of the playable franchises in the game.
In a statement, the game developer said: "The global agreement will see KONAMI continue to recreate the first team squad within its PES 2018 title, with players such as Mauro Icardi, Roberto Gagliardini, Eder Citadin Martins and Antonio Candreva implemented with an incredible level of detail that ensures their playing styles, on and off-the-ball movements, and tactical abilities are instantly recognizable within the game."
According to reports, the Inter Milan team will be released as a free DLC. Meanwhile, Konami and Inter Milan are yet to confirm its release date, but the developer promised that it will be launched "shortly after" the base game goes live in a few days.
"PES 2018" will be released in North America on Tuesday, Sept. 12, while Europe and Asia will get their hands on it on Thursday, Sept. 14. It will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
