Peter Thomas Bringing Kordell Stewart Back to 'RHOA' to Get 'the Other Side of the Story'

Peter Thomas is revealing why he decided to bring ex-NFL player Kordell Stewart back on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" after the latter divorced one of the show's starts Porsha Williams.

Thomas, model Cynthia Bailey's husband who is featured on the show to support his wife and her storyline on occasion, has built a friendship with Stewart during the latter's previous appearance on the show. While Williams has said she learned on Twitter that her now ex-husband was divorcing her last March, it seems the 32-year-old reality television star did not have the nicest things to say about him during the season six premiere of her reality television show.

For that reason, Thomas, 53, said he wanted Stewart, 41, to tell his side of the story.

"I lobbied to hear the other side of the story," Thomas recently told Sister 2 Sister magazine. "I spoke to Mr. Stewart, Kordell, because everyone kept on hearing just one side of the divorce situation."

He went on to disapprove of the way Williams was speaking about her ex-husband publicly during the filming of the show.

"I watched this guy get persecuted by public opinion. His ex-wife threw gasoline on the fire," he told S2S. "Why is that acceptable?"

Although Thomas did not seem happy with the way Williams spoke negatively about her marriage in the public eye, he spoke about her learning from her divorce.

"I don't think she's a bad person. I just think she's young and inexperienced in life," he told the publication. "I believe that she will learn from the situation … If she ever gets married again, she'll be a little bit more conscientious."

Williams previously said she has faith that she will indeed marry again one day.

"I believe it can happen because I'm blessed and I'm highly favored so all I need to do at this moment in time is get myself in a position where I feel complete, and then I'll meet someone who can complement me," she told Vibe Vixen last year. "It may not be what everyone else thinks it needs to be, but I'll find him."
