Peyton Manning Reveals Good Luck Charms Ahead of Super Bowl XLVIII
Just days ahead of the Super Bowl, Peyton Manning has revealed his good luck charms that he hopes will lead him to victory. While most players have an actual token or ritual during the season, Manning has chosen something a bit more personal.
"It's my family – my wife and kids," Manning told People magazine. "My entire family keeps me positive and they always support me. They will be coming to town to be with me. Without them, I would not be where I am today. I am very grateful."
Manning is married to wife of nearly 13 years, Ashley. Together, they have 2-year-old twins, Mosley and Marshall. Manning comes from a supportive family and a winning family at that; brother Eli has already won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants. Peyton won the 2007 Super Bowl with the Indiana Colts against the Chicago Bears.

He is a strong Christian and makes no excuses for his beliefs, which have helped him get to where he is in life.
"I committed my life to Christ, and that faith has been most important to me ever since," Manning wrote in his biography, "Manning." "I hope (and pray) I don't do too many things that displease Him before I get to Heaven myself. I believe, too, that life is much better and freer when you're committed to God in that way." He also noted that he prays every night and before every football game.
Manning and the Denver Broncos are busy preparing for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawk, which will be the first Super Bowl played outdoors in the cold. If Manning wins, he will be the first starting quarterback to win two Super Bowls with two separate teams. But no matter what happens, Manning is extremely grateful for his family and the blessings he already has.
"My kids provide me a lot of joy and happiness every day," he told People. "I'm learning more about them every day. It makes me happy and excited."
