This is a pivotal match between the two teams as the result may alter the standings in the division.

The Giants started their season slow but have picked up the pace.

Two losses in the first two games may have been a reason to panic, but Eli Manning and the rest of the team remained calm and showed why they deserve the credit they're getting.

They beat the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills before welcoming the San Francisco 49ers in their last outing.

It was an interesting game and was close throughout, with the Niners looking like they were going to win it in the closing seconds of the game.

However, clutch performances from Manning and Larry Donnell propelled them to get the victory after the two connected for a touchdown with 26 seconds remaining in the game, while the Niners were leading 27-23.

It was a huge victory and is a great confidence booster for the team heading into their clash against the Eagles.

On the other hand, the Eagles have alternated wins and losses in their last four games.

Their season began with a loss to the Atlanta Falcons, paired by another defeat at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys.

They notched their first win against the New York Jets but failed to get back-to-back victories in the next gameweek when they faced the Redskins.

In their last outing, they dominated the New Orleans Saints 39-17 behind Sam Bradford's 32-45 passing pip for 333 yards and two touchdowns.

Now they will try to get their first back-to-back win at the expense of the Giants.
