Phone Call in Missing Baby Lisa Irwin Case Will Lead to Answers, Says Private Investigator

A Kansas City private investigator said the phone call made from Lisa’s mother's cellphone will lead to answers in the investigation of the missing baby Lisa Irwin case.

Ron Rugen, a private investigator located in Kansas City, wrote in his blog: “I think the cellphones that night, all the way to Deborah Bradley’s to even Megan’s, I think those provide the answers to us.”

A call was made from the cellphone of Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, on the night Lisa disappeared. The cellphone was thought to be stolen along with Lisa.

“You’re not going to pocket dial some random phone number by accident that happens to be 1.1 miles away from the crime scene,” Rugen wrote.

Megan Wright is the actual owner of the cellphone that received the call. She claims to have shared the cellphone with seven other people. She also said a man named "Dane" had her cellphone on both Oct. 3 and Oct. 4. Dane confirmed using the cellphone to activate his own and line up some rides for the next week.

“If you reverse the whole call issue, it makes it a lot easier to dig down into the heart of this matter,” Rugen said.

Wright is the ex-girlfriend of neighborhood repairperson John "Jersey" Tanko, who has been repeatedly questioned by police. Reports recently surfaced that Tanko is allegedly bragging about having kidnapped Lisa.

Rugen said the timeline of the phone calls are unusual.

Rugen wrote: “We’re not impuning anything on anybody that we’re discussing here, they may have knowledge...It’s unusual when you look at the timeline and even some of the timeline that’s disputed. It’s unusual that the 11:50 phone call was made. It’s unusual that some attempt either to access Internet or voicemail at 3:17 and 3:22 were done.”

Bradley admitted falling asleep drunk the night Lisa vanished. Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, worked an unusual night shift and did not return home until 4 a.m. He noticed his daughter was not in her crib and called the authorities.

Lisa went missing from her Missouri home Oct. 4 and turned 1-years-old on Nov.11.
