Pillar Co-writes with Dave of Megadeth

Flicker Records rap/rock band Pillar only recruited the best for the making the band’s third album, Where Do We Go From Here?. Not only do they have legendary producer Travis Wyrick from Lake Side Studios recording the June 15th release but they also co-wrote a song with Dave Mustaine, founder of Megadeth and former member of Metallica.

Mustaine arrived at the Pillar’s studio with his pastor and began to challenge the band as he helped them write a single on the upcoming album.

“Dave offered the suggestion of speeding it up…a lot. The song turned out amazing and very hard,” the band said. The band also urged fans to support Mustaine, who became a Christian 2 years ago. “Dave is just a great guy. keep him, his family, music, and everything he does in your prayers.
