Pippa Dropped? Pippa Middleton Parts With Literary Agent After Poor Book Sales (VIDEO)
Pippa Middleton has been dropped by her literary agent, according to new reports out on Friday.
Pippa, the sister of Duchess Kate Middleton, recently release her long-awaited first book, "Celebrate: A Year of British Festivities for Families and Friends." However, the book did not get rave reviews, and comments on the book were lukewarm. Sales also did not kick in as good as expected, and it appears that this has led to Pippa being dropped by her agent.
Pippa's published, Michael Joseph, was reported to have offered her $600,000 for the rights to publish her party planning book, which was a massive amount for someone to receive for a first time commission.

Despite the publicity surrounding the book, it only managed to sell 2,000 copies in its first week on sale.
Sales were so bad that some outlets slashed prices on the book to 50 percent or 75 percent off, hoping to shift their stock of the item.
Now just months later, agent David Godwin has said that he has parted ways with Pippa. He has issued a short statement saying that he was "very sorry it has happened, but yes, it is true: I no longer represent Pippa and I wish her every good luck."
The news comes as Pippa's sister was also in the news this week. Kate Middleton was given a "Baby on Board" badge by London's subway workers on Wednesday. The workers gave the pregnant Duchess the badge explaining that should she ever need to take a subway train her badge would help allow other commuters know she is pregnant and give up a seat for her.
Of course Middleton, whose husband Prince William is currently second in line to the British throne, is highly unlikely to ever travel on London's underground system. However, she received the badge with a laugh and good humor, telling the workers that she would wear it at home.
Middleton was visiting Baker Street station in central London, which is a station famous for its connection with fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes. The Duchess was there to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of London's subway system, which is also known affectionately as the Tube.
The badge was given to Middleton by worker, Howard Collins, who later told reporters that the Duchess recognized the badge, having traveled many times on the Tube in the past prior to her marriage to Prince William.
