Pippa Middleton News: Pippa in Talks With NBC for 'Today' Correspondent Role
Pippa Middleton has been a party planner and an author, and now, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge may be coming to the U.S. for a new job at NBC.
Multiple sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that Middleton has been offered a correspondent role on the "Today" show. It is being reported that she has been in talks with NBC since her interview with Matt Lauer this past June wherein she talked about her sister, Prince George, and the royal wedding.
NBC News has previously denied a deal was in the works, but the network has reportedly been in serious talks with Middleton for months about becoming a lifestyle and health correspondent. Several media outlets have reported that the 31-year old is looking at a $500,000 to $650,000 contract.

On Monday, the Daily Mail reports that Middleton flew to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she was spotted at a hoedown dance with locals surrounded by cameras. It is believed that she was filming a test segment for the "Today" show. Dressed in a checked flannel shirt, jeans, and boots, she was filmed dancing with an elderly gentleman and she took time to mingle with the locals.
According to Daily Mail, it is believed that Middleton would not report on the royal family as the subject is said to be off-limits.
This is not the first time that NBC has hired someone who is connected to the royals. In the 1980s, Charles Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana, also worked for the network as a reporter. The Queen's youngest son, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, also worked in television in the '90s, forming the production company Ardent in 1993.
As of the moment, Middleton is still associated with the British supermarket Waitrose and is currently writing for Vanity Fair.
