"Super Meat Boy" was revealed as part of the October 2015 free PS Plus download earlier than the other titles. The game follows the story of Meat Boy, who is red and cube-shaped, on his quest to save his captured girlfriend, Bandage Girl. Bandage Girl is being held by Dr. Fetus, the game's villain, and Meat Boy must survive more than 300 levels, just to save his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, "Broken Age" tells about the adventures of two teenagers named Vella Tartine and Shay Volta, created by Tim Schafer. In this game, players can switch between the two characters, and help them deal with "unexpected adventures," according to IT News Africa.

Players will now have to control a robot that is trapped in a complex underground in "Unmechanical: Extended." Here, gamers will have to solve puzzles, and roam around the flesh-rock-and-steel world. The game is said to test one's wits, logic, and memory, so puzzle-solving gamers will enjoy this free game download.

"Chariot" is described as a "light-hearted" platform game, while Zen Studio's "KickBeat" is similar to "Dance Dance Revolution" but with a martial arts twist. Lastly, "Kung Fu Rabbit" is an action video game featuring a Rabbit that is practicing Kung Fu, in order to save abducted baby rabbits.

The free game downloads are available only to PlayStation Plus subscribers throughout the month of October.
