PlayStation Vita-Exclusive RPG Release Date: Compile Heart to Announce New Title Soon
Though they have announced that they will be developing two new games for the Sony PlayStation 4, Compile Heart is not completely abandoning creating games for the PlayStation Vita.
The Japanese video game developer announced on their official Twitter account that they are currently developing a role-playing game (RPG) for the PS Vita and that they may be announcing its title in the near future.
"PS Vita-exclusive! A completely new RPG is currently in development!! A completely new RPG for PS Vita is in earnest development at Compile Heart! We hope to announce it soon, so please look forward to it!!" the game developer tweeted.
No other details about the upcoming PS Vita-exclusive were provided, leaving Compile Heart fans and gaming enthusiasts with no other choice but to wait until the company unveils another batch of updates about their game releases.
Compile Heart also recently announced two new games, "New Dimension Game Neptunia VIIR" and "Genkai Tokki Castle Panzers," for the PlayStation VR and the PlayStation 4, respectively.
The teaser for "New Dimension Game Neptunia VIIR" features Console Patron Unit (CPU) goddess, Neptune. Her character is seen sitting in a room where players are able to hang out and interact with her.
A teaser for the second game, "Genkai Tokki Castle Panzers," has also been released. The game's plot is set after a coup against the emperor sometime in the year 213 of the Imperial Calendar. A princess manages to escape and encounters the game's protagonist — a young man.
According to a report by DualShockers, the protagonist is depressed because his private part is stuck in a hole while he was exploring ruins. He finds himself caught in the eternal battle of choosing which body part is better: butts or boobs.
In the past, Compile Heart published several PS Vita games such as "MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death," "Mary Skelter: Nightmares" and more.
