PlanetSide 2 Closed Beta PS4 Release Date: Launching January 2015
PlayStation 4 game PlanetSide 2 has introduced a closed Beta for their gamers this month.
According to their official blog, the game's development team has been working "hard at refining, optimizing and creating an amazing console version of PlanetSide 2 on PS4, and we can't wait to get it into your hands."
The closed beta has already sent out a couple thousand invites and they are expecting an increase of players as the Beta continues. Players will not be chosen randomly, instead they will be opted in according to the chronological order of their sign up. For players interested to be in the waiting list, they can opt in their email accounts in this site.

For the PlanetSide 2 beta, the developers aim to test out their servers, game performance and other aspects of the game. With the exclusive Beta access, the developers have asked the beta users to provide "constructive feedback" on the game.
They have provided useful questions that will help them improve the game before its actual launch like "how does the game look and feel?" and "is navigating through the menus intuitive and utilizing DualShock 4 in the best way?"
Users can submit comments not directly related to these concerns in the special Beta forum.
The game developers said they aim to make "massive battles to make your heart pound and adrenaline pump, so share your thoughts with us."
PlanetSide 2 Closed Beta will officially start on Jan. 20.
