Point of Grace to Launch Spring Tour
Point of Grace recently announced its spring 2008 "Point of Grace/Selah All the World" tour with special guest Michael Passons, former member of Avalon.
The tour, which launches Feb. 13 in Oklahoma City, is visiting 20 cities across the United States through May 31 and will support their critically acclaimed, chart topping project, How You Live.
The project – the group's first new studio in over three years – launched in August at the top of sales charts and has maintained top positions on radio and retail charts for over 10 weeks since its release.
The 2008 spring tour will be sponsored by Compassion International, a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, physical, economic and social poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. The ministr is currently helping more than 900,000 children in 24 countries.
Having recently traveled abroad on a sponsor tour with Compassion International, members of Point of Grace have become personally involved in the cause of poverty. All four members of Point of Grace sponsor a child through Compassion, helping to provide the children with Christian training, health care, nutritional supplements and educational opportunities. In February, Compassion is partnering with Point of Grace for the Girls of Grace National Conference where the advocacy group will be introduced to thousands of teen girls.
