'Pokemon Go' Eevee Evolution Guide 2017: Tricks to Evolve Eevee Into Different Evolution Types
Since the new "Pokemon Go" update arrived last week, fans have been itching to know how they can evolve their Eevees. The recent chart of Eevolutions and methods offers some easy ways on how players can evolve their cute Eevees into different evolution types.
Knowing the tricks in evolving Eevees is an indispensable part of the game, especially since these secrets determine the fate of the Pokemon. With the right trick, a player can evolve his cute Eevee into Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Umbreaon and Espeon.
According to IGN, the evolution of Eevees can be triggered randomly. However, if a player wants to evolve it into a specific type of Eevee, then one must consider doing specific tricks.
If a player wants to evolve the Eevee into a Flareon, one must name Eevee "Pyro." Correspondingly, the name "Rainer" must be used to achieve Vaporeon, "Sparky" for Jolteon, "Tamao" for Umbreon, and "Sakura" for Espeon.
To make sure that the trick works, a player must never forget to capitalize the first letter of the names.
Of all the evolutions, Umbreon and Espeon are the most difficult to achieve. While both evolutions can be done anytime of the day in "Pokemon Go," players must remember that Eevee can only be evolved into Umbreaon during the night, and Espeon during the day in "Pokemon Silver" and "Pokemon Gold."
It is also worth mentioning that throughout the game, the abovementioned tricks can only work once. Regardless of how many times a player renames his Eevee, its evolution will be random after the first renaming.
According to BGR, there is another trick players can use to evolve their Eevees into Umbreaon or Espeon. This trick involves walking 10 kilometers and getting two candies with the Eevee as the Pokemon Buddy. However, if the player fails to set the Eevee as Buddy or obtain two candies after walking this distance with him, the Eevee will just evolve into a Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon.
