'Pokemon GO' Gen 2: Egg Chart Reveals New Eggs Hatching Gen 2 Pokemon
The second generation of "Pokemon GO" has recently been released, and it arrived packed with new Pokemon available to catch in the wild as well as new creatures that can also be hatched from eggs.
The introduction of new eggs in "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 requires gamers to rework their existing Pokemon egg knowledge to include the additional magical creatures. Luckily, "Pokemon GO" HUB already prepared a handy chart which does just that.
The egg chart published by "Pokemon GO" HUB is based on the preliminary results of its community research on which Gen 2 Pokemon hatch from 2-kilometer, 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer eggs. The chart is created out of player reports submitted to GO HUB and is being updated in real time as new information is submitted. However, Pokemon with less than 10 reported hatches are not included in the chart.
According to Mic, the most useful part of any "Pokemon GO" egg chart is usually the 10-km egg section. In Gen 1, several of the most powerful Pokemon in the game, or the species they evolve from, hatch from 10-km Pokemon eggs.
The current Gen 2 egg chart, on the other hand, is reportedly more useful for Pokemon collectors than hardcore gym battlers. The new chart provides preliminary information on 10-km eggs but only provides the updated stats for each species that gives gamers an idea which among the 10-km egg results are the most valuable.
Based on the current stats, Tyranitar, Blissey, Donphan, Espeon and Hercross are proving to be early contenders for the new endgame Pokemon. This means an egg of the Larvitar, which evolves into the Pupitar and then into the Tyranitar, is turning out to be one of the most valuable 10-km eggs in "Pokemon GO" Gen 2.
As reported by BGR, Gen 1 Pokemon can still hatch from 2km, 5km and 10km eggs. Hence, not only will gamers have a hard time getting the Gen 2 Pokemon they want to hatch, they might not get a Gen 2 Pokemon at all.
"Pokemon GO" HUB has only had a few days to collect the data they based their egg chart on, which means the list they provided is not entirely accurate. Since the egg chart is still being updated in real time, gamers are advised to keep watch for any changes in the GO HUB's list.
