'Pokémon GO': Hatching Eggs Made Easier By New GPS Glitch
"Pokémon GO" players have found a way to hatch eggs without having to get out of the house or leave their couch, thanks to what they came to call as the "GPS drift."
Players appear to have figured out a method to better exploit the GPS tracker built into the hit augmented reality game, which BGR points out has always been erroneous.
The faulty "Pokémon GO" feature appears to be registering as in-game movement inaccurate data from the smartphone's GPS. This was pointed out by a Reddit user.

"I'm at work right now with my phone next to me. The GPS drift is so intense here that I can easily hatch tons of eggs. What's more, I just drifted about 500 meters to the east and got to catch a Dunsparce which I didn't have yet," he explained.
"On the go I don't drift at all. They can keep it like this as far as I'm concerned! My phone is a Galaxy S7, if you are interested," the Redditor went on to say.
Many other Reddit users seem to have confirmed that this is the case with the "Pokémon GO" GPS tracker. Whether or not the degree of the GPS drift depends on the model of the smartphone is still unclear.
However, BGR said that Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users find that the GPS drift works well on these devices while the Apple iPhone 5 apparently does the job too.
Despite this neat trick, there is one extremely elusive Pokémon that "Pokémon GO" players still hope to catch soon. This is the rare Pokémon, Unown, which has 26 variants.
This is especially hard-hitting to achievement completists, who would have to get all these versions of the pocket monster to get the Unown medal.
So far, the only known places where the Pokémon was spotted by "Pokémon GO" gamers are Singapore and the United States, particularly in Wisconsin.
