'Pokémon Go' Rumors: What Kind of Changes Will Be Made to the EX Raid Invitation System?
Developers set to apply improvements based on what they have heard from the players
EX Raids have been mentioned quite frequently by members of the "Pokémon Go" community, and it is not always because they are thrilled about them.
More than a few players have had issues with these Raids previously, stemming from how the developers opted to make them accessible.
Back when it was first announced in August, developers detailed how players could take part in what was then known as an Exclusive Raid.
Players had to earn invites for those Raids, and to get those, they had to have taken part in a normal Raid that went live at a Gym where the Exclusive Raid would be held.
The problem is that this system has not worked out too well, with many players expressing their frustration over it.
This has led to the developers revealing that they are about to make changes.
According to the Niantic Support Twitter account, improvements are being made to the invitation system and these tweaks are based on player feedback.
For now, "Pokémon Go's" developers have yet to outline exactly what they are changing, but there are players who have identified certain things that they would like to see addressed.
Over on the r/TheSilphRoad subreddit, "saxaddictlz" suggested that developers should make the requirements for obtaining an invite clearer so that players can understand exactly what they need to do.
Redditor "chatchan" suggested something similar, while also putting forth the idea that perhaps the developers could just get rid of EX Raids altogether and make the coveted Pokémon Mewtwo available to players in a different way.
Players are still waiting to find out exactly what the developers have in mind, and many are hoping that these upcoming changes will finally make the task of obtaining Mewtwo a little easier.
More news about "Pokémon Go" should be made available in the near future.
