'Pokémon Go' Tips: What Players Need to Know About the Newly Spotted Shiny Pokémon
Shiny variants of Sableye, Duskull and Dusclops have already been encountered
The still-ongoing Halloween event for "Pokémon Go" surprisingly added some new creatures to the game, with those being Banette, Dusclops, Duskull, Sableye and Shuppet.
Interestingly enough, several players have found some other new creatures in the game.
Over the past few days, players have reported encounters with Shiny variants of some of the aforementioned Gen 3 Pokémon.

In a post on the r/TheSilphRoad subreddit, "Ryozaaki" shared an image suggesting that a Shiny version of Sableye had been found.
Not long after that surprising find, "Devreugkx," in a post on the same subreddit, provided an image hinting that a Shiny Duskull was present inside the game as well.
With the Shiny Duskull inside "Pokémon Go," that meant that a Shiny variant of Dusclops had been added too.
These discoveries have worked to further hype up players who were already excited for the introduction of some Gen 3 Pokémon. However, just because some of these Shiny creatures have been found, it does not mean that everyone will be given the same opportunity to catch them.
Shiny Pokémon are incredibly difficult to encounter, and players can go on traveling and searching for a long time without ever running into one. That is simply the nature of the Shiny beast.
The best thing players can do at this point is to take advantage of the currently live event and try to encounter as many Sableyes and Duskulls as their phone batteries and patience will allow. This is not guaranteed to provide the result they want, but they are at least improving their chances.
In all likelihood, these new Shiny creatures are going to remain in the game even after the event is over, so players may still be able to catch them then, it will just be a tougher task.
