'Pokémon Sun and Moon' News: Devs Detail Third Global Mission, Will Remain Active Until Feb. 14

'Pokémon Sun and Moon's' third Global Mission yields extra rewards for Pokémon Global Link members

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" players have a new challenge to take on in the form of the third Global Mission. And this time around, they will need to make plenty of trades.

The new Global Mission known as "Trade Pokémon at the GTS!" is pretty simple at it calls on players to make as many trades as they can. To be more specific, players will need to compile a total of at least one million completed trades at the Global Trade System by Feb. 14 in order to successfully accomplish this Global Mission.

If players are able to hit the target on or before the set end date of the third Global Mission, then there are some nice rewards waiting for them.

Should the goal be met, all players will be rewarded with 2000 Festival Coins. Pokémon Global Link members will receive something extra if this Global Mission is completed, as they would then be in line to get 4000 Festival Coins.

Furthermore, if "Pokémon Sun and Moon" players really go above and beyond and somehow reach two million trades made as part of the challenge, then Pokémon Global Link members will receive an extra Friend Ball.

Evidently, it pays to be both a Pokémon Global Link member and an active participant in the ongoing Global Mission, as registered players who tally five or more trades will also be rewarded with five pieces of Rare Candy.

Now, should players fail to meet the objectives set in the third Global Mission, they can still take home 200 Festival Coins, while Pokémon Global Link members will get 400 Festival Coins for joining in on the activity.

Players were unable to complete the first two Global Missions put in front of them, so they now have a chance to win some useful items as they give the third one a try.

More news about "Pokémon Sun and Moon" should be made available soon.
