'Pokémon Sun and Moon': Mythical Pokémon Coming to Alola
As "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" players expected, the next mythical Pokémon to find its way to the Alola region is Marshadow. Capturing the pocket monster will not be done traditionally though.
A new teaser video has confirmed that Marshadow, one of the seven Generation 7 legendary and mythical Pokémon, will be included in the game really soon.
Unfortunately, Marshadow is not one that "Pokémon Sun and Moon" players will run into in the game much like mythical Pokémon Magearna, which was only obtainable via a QR code provided by Nintendo.
Details on how to capture Marshadow will be revealed at a later time, but media outlets expect that the mythical Pokémon will be obtainable the same way Magearna was.
Marshadow is described as a fighting, ghost type Pokémon with the Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike for a Z-Move. The creature also appears in the upcoming "Pokémon" movie, "I Choose You."
Marshadow's arrival has been known since last year courtesy of dataminers, who found references in the game files of the mythical Pokémon's vitals.
The existence of the upcoming "Pokémon Sun and Moon" addition was doubted since in the "Pokémon" lore, very few have seen it in the flesh. The game should put these qualms to rest.
In related news, the Beedrillite and Mawilite Mega Stones for acquiring Mega Beedrill and Mega Mawile are now available through download code distribution.
To make things sweeter for "Pokémon Sun and Moon" players, the Medichamite and Audinite Mega Stones for Mega Medicham and Mega Audino will also be up for grabs.
To obtain these Pokémon, players will have to unlock a Mystery Gift with the download code "INTIMIDATE." After receiving the Mega Stones, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" players should speak to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick them up. Last but not the least, they are to save their game in order to make sure they keep the Mega Stones.
