'Pokken Tournament DX' Update: Nintendo Confirms Online Team Battles, Official Groups and More Are Heading to the Game

Nintendo Switch users are in for a huge treat. Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that an exciting "Pokken Tournament DX" update is on the way, featuring additional content for the game.

According to Nintendo, the upcoming update will include online team battles, official groups in the group matches, Pokemon movement-recording feature, and enhanced overall experience. With the Online Team Battles that come with the new update, players of "Pokken Tournament DX" will be able to play Team Battles with their friends online. This added feature will let users choose three Pokemon each and set out on battles.

The update will also open up Official Groups in the Group Match online battle mode. While these groups are currently not yet available in the game, the update will soon make these Official Groups accessible to players for added functionality. This feature will be most beneficial to players who are into the competitive scene, as it will allow them to engage in battles to receive new exclusive titles.

Another special update that is heading to "Pokken Tournament DX" is the Recording of Pokemon Movements feature, which will allow players to record their moves in the Free Training practice mode. A mainstay in other fighting games like "Tekken" and "Virtua Fighter," this feature will allow players to take control of their opposing Pokemon and record their movements if they want to play them back. The goal of this feature is basically to help players hone their fighting skills.

All things considered, what the upcoming update promises to give players is an enhanced overall gaming experience. Aside from the abovementioned features that will be added to the game, more adjustments will be made to "Pokken Tournament DX" to improve its gameplay and give players a more worthwhile gaming experience.

"Pokken Tournament DX" is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
